Punkin Chunkin Colorado is the signature fall event presented by the city of Aurora and Chambers Wine & Liquor. The event features a pumpkin chunking competition that is one of only five such events sanctioned by the World Championship Punkin Chunkin organization.
The fun-filled, three-day event also features family-friendly festival activities like live music, face painting, pony rides, crafts, a pumpkin patch and blow-up corn maze. A variety of food and beverage vendors satisfy any craving.
The 2016 event was the biggest yet with an estimated 30,000 people in attendance. Eighteen teams competed for bragging rights, including 14 adult teams and 4 youth teams. See the list of 2016 winners!
